Pantone Color of the Year: Tangerine Tango!

The year of Honeysuckle pink is over, and Tangerine Tango is here!

From Pantone.com

Those color people, Pantone, predict the hot color for the upcoming year. They analyze trends including buying habits and fashion shows, and decide what is going to be “in”. Apparently orange is the next big thing. So of course, I have to run with the inspiration. It was hard to find something in pure tangerine–not too orange, not too red, not too salmon–so there’s a bit of variation.

  1. I’m really liking Tangerine Tango. I usually don’t like the color orange, but there’s something so vibrant about this shade that would be fun to accessorize with (like the orange clutch!)

  2. I love the Jessica Simpson shoes and the cutout clutch!

I’m always a big fan of orange (unless it is UT orange, blech!) I have a pair of orange strappy heels I team with a crisp white Anne Klein shirt dress and really big chunky turquoise jewelry. I love the clean of it with just the pops of color!
